CUMMING, GA — An upscale, dine-in movie theater is coming to Halcyon, the planned mixed-use development in Forsyth County.
The Atlanta Business Chronicle reports that CMX, an affiliate of Mexican theater chain Cinemex, has signed a lease to open a 10-screen, 38,000-square-foot cinema at Halcyon — a planned community of private residences, retail, hotels and offices being developed in south Forsyth County.
The 135-acre development will be near Exit 12 on Ga. 400 and McFarland Parkway.
CMX is the first confirmed tenant for Halcyon.
The cinema will offer full-service dining, hand-crafted cocktails and plush recliners in its theaters, the Business Chronicle reported.
In addition to the theater and residences, Halcyon is also slated to include 10 restaurants, a fitness club and a market hall.
